A discretionary service charge of 12.5% applies to the following: Events on a dinner package, Minimum food & beverage spend, Wine pre-orders
AV: with the exception of us providing a stage in the Ballroom or Tudor Rose Room, we do not have any other AV equipment in house. However, we work closely with Encore our preferred AV supplier. From 2025 the conditions for bringing in an external technology company for your event at the hotel will include the following charges: Supervision Fee, if you wish to use your preferred technology company a fee of £ 2,500.00 per day would apply. If you choose to use an external technology company, please consider these additional costs in your planning.
We have 30 car parking spaces at the Hotel. Our garage is based on Brick Street, and parking for events is charged at £25.00 for the night, or £50.00 for overnight. Parking is on a first come first serve basis.
The Ballroom has a sound limiter set to 90dB and the Tudor Rose Room is set to 85dB.
All accommodation rates are valid for 2 week, unless otherwise outlined in the proposal. Any change to the number of rooms requested, dates specified or length of stay may result in new rates and/or conditions being applied. After this time, the hotel reserves the right to amend the number/type of rooms offered.
Standard payment terms require 10% on return of signed contract, 40% 3months prior and remaining balance 6 weeks prior. For shortlead bookings, these terms may change.
Events with a value of £20,000.00 or more will be subject to a credit check to ensure sufficient funds are available for payment. Those who do not wish to apply for a credit check will be required to make a full payment of 110% to cover any potential extras.

Cancellation policy

In the event of a cancellation occurring 0 to 3 Working Days prior to arrival, liquidated damages in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Group Room Night Commitment, seventy percent (70%) of the Minimum Spend, and “Total Meeting Room Rental” (as defined in the Event Order) will be due, plus applicable taxes.
In the event of a cancellation occurring 4 to 90 Working Days prior to arrival, liquidated damages in the amount of ninety percent (90%) of the Group Room Night Commitment and forty percent (40%) of the Minimum Spend, and Total Meeting Room Rental will be due, plus applicable taxes.
In the event of a cancellation occurring 91 to 180 Working Days prior to arrival, liquidated damages in the amount of eighty percent (80%) of the Group Room Night Commitment and forty percent (40%) of the Minimum Spend, and Total Meeting Room Rental will be due, plus applicable taxes.
In the event of a cancellation occurring 181 to 365 Working Days prior to arrival, liquidated damages in the amount of seventy percent (70%) of the Group Room Night Commitment and forty percent (40%) of the Minimum Spend, and Total Meeting Room Rental will be due, plus applicable taxes.
In the event of a cancellation occurring between the time of acceptance of this contract and 366 days prior to arrival, liquidated damages in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Group Room Night Commitment and forty percent (40%) of the Minimum Spend, and Total Meeting Room Rental will be due, plus applicable taxes.
