Located in the heart of the city centre, Quirky Quarter is an event space unlike anything else in the area. Wonderfully unconventional, the venue is filled with clever puzzles, mind-bending illusions and eye-catching installations, with every corner designed to surprise and delight. It’s a setting that naturally sparks curiosity, creativity and playfulness, making it an unforgettable backdrop for any event.

Made up of four distinctive spaces, Quirky Quarter is perfectly suited to a wide range of occasions, from corporate gatherings and team-building events to private celebrations and creative workshops.

The Library sits at the heart of the venue, offering a warm and welcoming hub that sets the tone for your event. With its characterful, old-fashioned library interior, this cosy yet stylish space is ideal for pre-event mingling, elegant drinks receptions, or intimate live music performances. The Library comfortably accommodates up to 25 seated guests on a mix of sofas and chairs, or 40–50 guests standing, depending on the layout.
The room also features its own private bar, serving a broad selection of alcoholic and soft drinks, alongside light snacks. With advance notice, both drinks and snack options can be tailored to suit your event.

Tucked away at the back of the venue, the Exhibit Room is Quirky Quarter’s largest and most immersive space. A playful world of optical illusions, puzzles and unexpected surprises, it encourages guests to explore, interact and get inspired. Its generous size and flexible layout make it easy to adapt to your vision, whether you’re planning something bold, creative or completely out of the ordinary.

For a truly unforgettable experience, step into the Upside Down Room. This iconic space quite literally turns the world on its head, creating incredible photo opportunities and jaw-dropping perspectives. Complete with green-screen interactive photo moments, guests can place themselves inside imaginative scenes that are guaranteed to impress and entertain.

Finally, the Event Space offers a clean, monochromatic setting that can be styled to suit any occasion. Seating up to 45 guests, the fully modular furniture allows for a variety of layouts, including theatre, classroom, boardroom, U-shape or cabaret. The space is equipped with Wi-Fi, hybrid conferencing capabilities and a basic AV package, including a PA system, microphone and projector, making it ideal for meetings, presentations and workshops.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations within 24 hours after booking confirmation will receive a full refund. This excludes events starting within 48 hours.

Cancellations 60 days in advance will receive a full refund.

Cancellations 60 days to 30 days in advance will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations for events starting within 30 days are non-refundable.
