Set in the picturesque landscapes of Hertfordshire, Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel & Country Club is a 19th century Jacobean-style manor located in Ware, only 25 miles north of Central London. Wood-panelled libraries, cosy fireplaces and charming guest rooms are a reminder of the quiet sophistication of a time gone but not forgotten.

The 200-acre estate features 161 bedrooms and suites, an 18-hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus II, a leisure club

Venues and Capacity

Both licensed for civil ceremonies, choose from two distinct venues, Poles Hall & Thundridge Suite and Garden Court & Summer House, where historic charm and modern facilities blend seamlessely.

Poles Hall & Thundridge Suite: Once the chapel of the manor house, Poles Hall is full of character, with stunning vaulted ceilings and a minstrels’ gallery. Poles Hall can comfortably accommodate up to 120 guests for your ceremony and seated dinner and up to 150 for your evening reception.

Garden Court & Summer House: Enchanting no matter the season, Garden Court and Summer House offer a light-filled venue featuring 27 guest rooms. Enclosed in a romantic walled garden, this is the ideal setting for a more exclusive occasion. Garden Court & Summer House can comfortably accommodate up to 70 guests for your ceremony, up to 80 for your seated dinner and up to 120 for your evening reception.
