The largest space available is The Livery Hall, featuring oak-panelled walls and dramatic high-vaulted ceilings which perfectly blends tradition with elegance.

PROTOCOLS FOR AUDIO VISUAL EQUIPMENT WITHIN HABERDASHER’S HALL

1. General. This protocol is too brought to the attention of clients using an AV Company during their event at Haberdashers Hall. All AV companies will be required to submit a risk assessment to cover arrival, setting up and taking down staging/equipment and clearing site. Whilst on site at the Hall, AV staff remain the responsibility of Grayson’s.
2. Pre Event, Grayson’s are to copy/explain this protocol to the Client/AV for their signature and return with the risk assessment for internal circulation.
3. Access. Before 0730hrs and after 2200hrs access is via the main entrance; 18, West Smithfield. After 0730 and before 2200 access, is via 28 Hosier Lane, West Smithfield. A goods lift is available, details are; load 1500KG’s, H 200 cm’s, W 125 cm’s
& D 200cm’s. The Livery Hall and Reception Gallery have a “beamed” fire alarm system 3 mtrs above floor level. Set ups with a height exceeding 3 mtrs will require the House Team to turn off the fire beam.
4. During the Event. The event will be completed following the risk assessment eg:
• Grayson’s/AV manger will view the agreed area where AV will be set up.
• Grayson’s will ensure all AV staff sign in on arrival and sign out on leaving site.
• AV staff are to wear company uniform displaying identity cards when on site.
• Fire exits, Fire doors and primary circulation routes must be kept clear.
• Equipment must be free standing and not in contact with walls, ceilings, furniture, art works etc. Gaffer tape, hooks, nails, blue tack etc. is not be used within the Hall.
• Furniture & sound stations are not be sited on or over the floor ventilation grilles.
• The “Set Up” must not pose any safety hazards and should be confirmed via comparison/compliance with the risk assessment.
• Once the AV presentation is “set up” Grayson’s will request the Assistant Beadle or Beadle to view the “set up” to confirm there are no risks to Health & Safety.
• Surface run cables are to be routed in cable covers.
• Grayson’s are to report all accidents, near misses or dangerous occurrences to be the Assistant Beadle or Beadle.
• Prior to the AV team departing, the AV manger, Grayson’s and Haberdasher House Team will view the area used by the AV team is undamaged and left tidy.
• Costs for repair of any damage caused by the AV, Haberdasher Operating Company will be charged to Grayson’s.
• Driving vehicles into/out of the delivery bay. Drivers must be directed by a competent banksman.

Cancellation policy

As per contract
Cancellation by the Customer
a. A confirmed booking shall only be deemed to be cancelled when the Company receives written notification of the cancellation.
b. The following cancellation charges shall apply:
a. Less than 30 days prior to the event: 100% of the contracted total
b. Between 31 - 90 days prior to the event: 75% of the contracted total
c. 91+ days prior to the event: 50% of the contracted total
