Spaciously designed over 2 floors in a light-filled mews house on Lonsdale Road in Queen’s Park, The Hearth offers a variety of spaces for venue hire. The décor is calm and relaxing while thoughtfully designed with a warm colour palette.

The Library upstairs is perfect for presentations, launches, screenings or team away days with a screen, projector and PA system included.

For an informal gathering, host a cosy workshop at our kitchen table or a networking evening with canapes in The Lounge downstairs.

Rules of the space

Rules of the space

All setup and takedown must happen during the rental period.
The rental is per floor; guests may not use areas or rooms that were not rented.
You may bring your own decorations (flowers/balloons on a weight, etc.), but nothing may be stuck to walls or hung from fixtures.
No explosive confetti or open fires are allowed.
Tables used for food or drink must be covered to prevent damage.
The space must be returned in the same condition it was provided. The Hearth reserves the right to deduct fees from your deposit if the condition of the space is unsatisfactory.
We do not host kids’ parties; only children under 1 year old or over 12 years old are allowed.
Breach of these terms will result in the deposit not being refunded.
The client is liable for any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning required due to their use of the venue.
If repair or cleaning costs exceed the security deposit, The Hearth reserves the right to charge the client’s card on file; a breakdown of charges will be provided.

House Rules:
Smoking is prohibited.
Pets are not allowed.
Decorations must follow the guidelines above.
The space must be left in the same condition as found, with all decorations, food, drinks, and rubbish removed.
If hiring our cutlery and crockery, please use the dishwasher in our kitchen. Post-event cleaning is available for £40.
Trash bags can be left on the pavement outside; your event coordinator will assist.
Cooking is not allowed on the premises.

Cancellation policy

A £100 security deposit is required to secure the booking. This is refundable within 2 weeks after the event, unless the booking is cancelled, in which case it is non-refundable.
Full payment of the hire fee is due 30 days before the event.
Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event: full refund of hire fee (excluding the non-refundable deposit).
Cancellations made 15–30 days before the event: 50% of the hire fee refunded.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the event: no refund.
Hirers that overrun the agreed booking time may incur additional charges.
